Are you sick of this person/these people who come on the forum with all kinds of weird messages? He/she/they are not spammers. I know I am sick of them. I am trying to get him/her/they to go away by sending them e-mail (not PM’s). They want to disrupt our forum, I will send them stupid e-mail till they stop (they are posting, or replying to more than 1 thread and are becoming a nuisance. The only problem is, one person can only send 5 e-mails per day on the forum. If everyone who is sincere Rain and Beatles fans on this forum sends e-mails to those who are not, maybe we can eliminate all this crap and we can get back to having a good forum.

If these people are legit fans, let them come forward and prove it by showing or asking questions (that make sense) about Rain or the Beatles. Tomorrow I will continue my campaign with e-mail to try to stop this influx of crap that is happening.
If admin sees fit to ban me from the forum for doing this, so be it. I will always be a Beatles and Rain fan.

Yo, I'm sick too. It's very annoying. But I don't think mailing them makes any sense, because usually these people use one-day-emails ( or disposable temporary email adress) They exist to register onto forums and that stuff. The wait for the confirmation email and they are here. They don't need the email anymore. Admin should be here more often and delete these people. And admin should be ban a many email domains from these one day accounts...like trash-mail.com. Maybe we should just hit the report button more often and write in there why we did this......

It is very annoying..perhaps if we don't respond or post in their threads they will just go away...We love Rain and are always willing to welcome new,legitimate members to this forum...

The best way to get rid of these kind of posts is to not respond to them. When you respond, it counts as someone reading their "ad".

They are coming in and posting on legitimate threads. How do we not respond to them them? I do not think that any of us have "replied" to any of their posts, but we have certainly posted on the threads after the spam.
I understand if some of them start a thread that we totally ignore them and I think in most we are.
I know that Kim totally lost out on something a week ago, because there was so much of this stuff on here.
I wish Admin would do somthing about this.

Moderation is needed. But, the admins don't want to have to bother to moderate and approve posts by new members. I do wish they would give it a test period though. I STILL VOLUNTEER to be a moderator!!!

BLAST! These spammers are really taking a toll. I haven't been posting much, but am still on this board almost every day- but now my time is being taken up with reporting every spam post! It's a bummer
