She was on CBC The Hour last night and WOW....she looks amazing! She wore a royal blue dress and was stunningly beautiful but I did find her a bit reserved. Not too much talk of her life with George and Eric but it's all in her book. I didn't think the book was a tell-all really, just a glimps of what her amazing life was like as one of the most famous and influential women. Her photo gallery kicks off this weekend. Her home photos are beautifully revealing.

A couple of weeks ago, the local Fox network affiliate Channel 2 ran an interview with Chuck Berry. I'm sure a lot of you know that Mr Berry lives here in St Louis and he still plays occasionally ( about once a month ) in a club called "Blueberry Hill". Not bad for a man of 82! Anyhow, he was interviewed about his music and his hits and he said something that I thought was really cool. He said that out of all the songs he wrote and performed, there was one that he wished he had written, and that song was "Yesterday". He said that when that song first came out if felt to him that it was written especially for him because of some of the things he was going through in his personal life at the time. Now, to me, that is one heck of a compliment from one legend of rock and roll to another! And "speaking" of Sir Paul, did anyone catch that "interview on the fly" he gave to a reporter for one of those entertainment TV magazine shows ( E.T./ Extra/etc).
I don't remember which one it was ( I was channel surfing at the time ) but the reporter asked Paul if it was true that he wanted to perform for the Obama's once they move into the White House. Paul said yes and when he was asked what song he wanted to play he looked at the reporter and answered " Why, 'Michelle', of course". Great response. I hope it happens.

cooper noticed that the 'paul' was "playing like paul" now! he was very excited and i was delivering kudos, thinking that rain's bass player had been so dedicated he actually taught himself to play left-handed.

what we need to know: did he actually do that or was it a stand in? no disrespect to the original 'paul' if it wasn't him--he helped build this great band i consider the world's greatest beatles tribute.

if it was another fell, please let me know who he is and what beatles trib band he plays in--he was really quite great.
